Diagnostiikkakoira and Pinja Hovi
Company was founded in 2019. The company’s origins lie in Pinja’s desire to work with both dogs and people, using dogs’ keen sense of smell to help people. In Finland, this ability has mainly been used by the authorities. I decided to train Finland’s first diagnostic dog, Dexter, myself.
Diagnostiikkakoira’s partners include the data security experts of Cult Security, financing experts from Nordea’s Start-Up & Growth unit, and the logistics company Matkahuolto. The service’s website was created by Myynninmaailma.
Diagnostiikkakoira® – a reliable screening method
Our firm continuously invests in the further training of its dogs. We want to use the service to guarantee a low-threshold cancer-screening service for everyone who wants it. The service has no equivalent anywhere in the world – Diagnostiikkakoira represents the best in Finnish innovative, growth-oriented entrepreneurship.
Diagnostiikkakoira® is a registered trademark. The trademark is a statement that our dogs are trained using the same reliable methods as police and customs dogs, for example. The dog’s and trainer’s performance is put to the test in extreme conditions to ensure reliability and a standard skill set.
